There CAN be a lot of variables when it comes to carpet cleaning prices, especially with other carpet cleaners!
Not with OMG! Carpet Cleaning. We charge a FLAT RATE, PER AREA. We call them areas because they’re not always “rooms.” Areas are bedrooms, hallways, media rooms, stairs (flight), living room, dining room, family room, office, etc.
If the master has a “sitting room,” it is USUALLY counted as an area. Closets are INCLUDED with areas already being cleaned. The EXCEPTION is if the closet is big enough to park a car in, then it would be counted as an area.
Living room/dining room combinations are USUALLY counted as two areas. A good, general rule of thumb is, if counts as an area when you buy it or when you sell it, it counts as an area when we clean it.
If you live in a gated community, our prices don’t go up when “gate goes up.” The only time the price changes is if the area is larger than 15′ x 15′. Areas larger than that count as two areas. Most carpet cleaners charge extra for area larger than 12′ x 12′, so we give you an EXTRA 81 FEET!
So OMG! Carpet Cleaning gives EXACT-imates instead of estimates. We believe customers deserve to know the FINAL PRICE not a STARTING price. And if you’re charged more than your EXACT-imate, your carpet cleaning is FREE! I bet the “other guys” won’t do that!
The difference between a carpet cleaning “estimate” or
quote vs an OMG! EXACT-imate is simple.
An estimate or quote is often what we call a “starting price.” An EXACT-imate is the EXACT PRICE YOU’LL ACTUALLY BE CHARGED.
And with OMG! Carpet Cleaning, if you’re charged more than your EXACT-imate, YOUR CARPET CLEANING IS FREE!
Ask the “other guys” if they’ll do that!
HOW is actually MORE IMPORTANT than HOW MUCH!
How should be your first question instead of how much. A lot of carpet cleaners use soapy detergents and “cleaners,” just like carpet spot cleaners. And a lot of water, “steam.”
